well as strays, after having opened the drawer of free ideas, I launched another project: words themselves. The first readers, perhaps, will remember him. I fixed the blog, moving to blogspot. You can find it here . The project is still active, so please send your "own words".
Safety at work: the record or information requirement? Short happens (I do) after a period of absence from the blog to have much to write. These days, moreover, many things have changed, starting with the government crisis. Bad Italian to which I will not resign because I assume that politics is not "something else": the policy we are.
Among the many things I want to write, choose one that I consider fundamental: safety at work.
I received today an email from Mark Stancati , director of the communication Inail . I know Mark pretty well. With him I had the pleasure of working side by side, but also to discuss in a frank, intelligent, innovative, safety issues, which, too often, they rise to the mere role of "muse " momentary colorful pieces of news and too rarely, lie at the basis of a draft comprehensive information, shared, aimed at creating a "culture of safety .
Mark sends me and others, link to a video posted on YouTube and writes "If you think a good message, let it ring."
I believe that what is proposed is a Inail good message. And I think for two main reasons: the first is that, consistent with what we are strongly convinced, we focus our attention on the person and his individual effort in self-care, and the second is that the emphasis on the need that safety is part of their existence since the early years of life. Why, citing the head of a student which, alas, can not remember the name: Security is life.
Safety is a culture to be worn like a second skin . And this should be explained to the person before they enter the world of work before it is a "worker". Only the knowledge a priori can feed the "social courage" to say no to the conditions of "no confidence" that lead us to count the dead white stockpiling fingers, for those of our hands are not enough.
